ISKCON is celebrating Puri Rath Yatra all over the world.

ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, is indeed renowned for its grand celebration of the Puri Rath Yatra, which is a significant festival in the Vaishnava tradition. The Puri Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Festival, originates from the city of Puri in the Indian state of Odisha.

During this festival, Lord Jagannath, along with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, is worshipped and ceremoniously taken on a procession in magnificently decorated chariots. Devotees enthusiastically pull the chariots through the streets, chanting the holy names of the Lord and singing devotional songs.

The Rath Yatra is not limited to Puri alone, as ISKCON temples worldwide also participate in this joyous occasion. Devotees from different countries and cultures come together to offer their love and devotion to Lord Jagannath. The celebrations often include elaborate processions, vibrant decorations, devotional music, traditional dances, and sumptuous feasts.

ISKCON’s dedication to spreading the teachings of Lord Krishna and promoting spiritual awareness has made the Puri Rath Yatra a global event. The festival serves as a reminder of the unity and devotion shared by millions of devotees worldwide, irrespective of their backgrounds.

Through the celebration of the Puri Rath Yatra, ISKCON continues to inspire and engage people in the practice of bhakti yoga, the path of loving devotion. This festival not only revitalizes the spiritual connection between devotees and the Lord but also fosters a sense of community and harmony among people of diverse cultures, transcending borders and boundaries.

May the celebrations of the Puri Rath Yatra bring joy, peace, and spiritual enlightenment to all who participate, reaffirming the universal message of love and devotion.
